The handheld EVD-3000++ detects trace amounts of plastic and high vapor pressure explosives, including C-4, PETN, Semtex, RDX and nitroglycerine. Using thermo-redox technology, the system can analyze either trace or va- por samples and delivers clear results in less than 10 seconds with the push of a button. No carrier gas or radioactive source is needed to operate the system, increasing safety and reducing ownership costs.
